If you are going to install VS TFS 2008 with SQL Server 2008 as your database server, you will need to download VS TFS 2008 and merge it with your /AT folder as one installation. Sounds like a pain, because it is a pain. :)
Download the Installation Guide specific to this situation.
Basically what you are doing is downloading VS TFS SP1 and merging it with the VS TFS Server install files so like it's installing it from the DVD as VS TFS with SP1 opposed to seperate installs which will not work in this case.
